FAQs

Is the Sketchnote Bootcamp a teacher or student resource?

It’s both! It will not only help you, the teacher, better understand and develop your sketchnote skills but it is designed to be a presentation that you give to your class to introduce them to sketchnotes.

How do I access the materials?

Upon purchase, you will receive an email with directions on how to access the presentation and associated materials

What grade levels do sketchnotes work with?

All grade levels - sketchnotes can be adapted and modified to fit any teaching situation and are a lifelong skill for students to use to better process content.

How soon will I be able to use the Strategies in my classroom?

Immediately! As soon as you are familiar with the materials you should be able to use them in your classroom.

Can I use sketchnotes on my own or does my whole department have to do them?

As with most teaching strategies, it is best when you can collaborate with colleagues to develop and plan your curriculum. However, you can use sketchnotes on your own if necessary and often without disrupting the goals of your department, because it is not a curriculum, rather a means of recording and processing the curriculum.

“When I heard about sketch notes from someone in a fb teacher group, I was curious. When I looked into it, I got so excited! I watched video after video on YouTube but couldn’t really get a grasp of how to implement it into my classroom. So I took the plunge into Weibert Science and I am so glad I did! I am so excited to implement this in my class this year, and hope my students will use this throughout their educational journey! Thank you Jennifer!”
