About Me
Hi! I’m Jennifer Weibert! Welcome to my website and to Phenomenal Science Teaching! I’ve been in science education for just over 20 years. I started as a science teacher and for the last thirteen years I’ve gotten to train and support science teachers all around the world. I am an expert in notebooking and training on strategies that engage all students in science.
I have worked with and trained thousands of secondary science teachers in the past thirteen years. I train teachers on knowing and executing the best science teaching strategies possible. So many science teachers are not offered top quality professional development by a science expert. I have the experience and training to get you to the next level of teaching and student engagement. The strategies I have designed are easy to understand but yet powerful when delivered. I will make your job of teaching science easier while getting you the best results in student work and assessments. As science teachers, we both know it’s often hard to find the time to learn new pedagogy, let me help you out on that! I love science just as much as you do!
I decided to start this website and training teachers because I saw the tremendous success that the teachers I train locally were having by implementing my strategies. I want ALL science teachers to have access to high level training. So I finally sat down and put all of my knowledge into 6 strategies. And here we are! Teachers around the world have been signing up and it’s amazing to learn from each other.
When I first started with the idea of training science teachers, I thought it was all about notebooking. It’s my thing-has been since day one of teaching. There is no better tool out there to process science. After putting all my strategies together…I realized it’s so much more than notebooking- it’s good science teaching. To give students structure but yet freedom to process individually. Now is the perfect time for you to join me in a training, come learn something new and be excited with your students on the journey. My hope for the future as this adventure grows and evolves-is that thousands of science teachers get to meet up with me and learn together! Once you come on board, you are going to want to stay around! Just look at the testimonials. It’s a community with colleagues to call on when you need it.
As we get to know each other through training, you’ll see that I’m a Biology girl at heart but have come to enjoy the physical sciences as well. Math…not so much…but don’t tell my husband who teaches Calculus. My three children are ok with giving up some time away from doing science in the kitchen with me or gardening or fishing so that I can spend time training with you. They know my passion is science for all kids. And I know that is your passion as well. Let’s connect and get going on a new path.
